24 Frames of Ginger aka: Jon Deutsch is an incredible “pixelation” artist who uses/manipulates the real world with stop motion and leans into everyday themes and places in his largely TikTok oriented/distributed films. You will often see his own hands in his films, and his signature look involves messing with perspective and giving the general impression that he has just snapped a few stills with his phone about the day, and strung them together. The pre-production/planning involved in making somethign look this easy is anything but spontaneous and easy, but he does use his phone it seems for most of his filming. In interviews he comes across as genuine, creative, and humble pie all things that seep into my joy watching his films and further my appreciation of them!
