Another great short from John Canemaker from waaay back. I cant find a ton of backstory about this, but I love seeing work that so readily reveals the making OF the work, ie: the pencil first, the ink, the color. Frame by frame in all of its traditional glory. I’m also always fascinated by how animation Directors come up with transitions, particularly executions that refuse to employ hard cuts (ie: the easy way out.)
