Matthew Walker seems to be the (almost) one man show behind this very clever, award-winning animated short, about a polar bear who’s in the doghouse. His signature understated, witty dialogue can be seen in another short from 2007 called Operator.
Matthew worked under the Arthur Cox wing it appears as these films were made and has since gone on to the much larger pastures of Aardman in Bristol to be represented there as a Director. Arthur Cox sadly seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird as its namesake founders Sally Arthur and Sarah Cox have also moved on, Sally also to Aardman as a Creative Director.
