This is the opening title sequence for the 1991 – 1992 animated TV series of 39 x 30 minute episodes which was co-produced by France and Canada. The series used traditional animation techniques and adhered closely to the original books, going so far as to transpose some frames from the original books directly to screen. It aired originally in France on May 5, 1992 and in the US it could be seen on HBO and later on Nickelodeon.
