Let it be said, i love STATE. Their Manifesto/reel is one of the coolest i’ve ever seen, and while i am one of those dinosaurs mentioned in the VO who loves a company with a “thing” and a “specific style” its just because its easier for me to remember who’s doing what and i’m old, and i’m well.. A dinosaur. State does a TON of stuff really really well, cel, CG, 3d, photoreal, illustrative, fluid, design everything, kinetic ANYthing. Characters, logos, cartoons, stories.. The only thing i don’t see? A lot of sexy product shots. And i suspect from State, they’re awfully proud of that.
