Lawrence Becker is an award winning Stop motion Director and Animator who started making Stop Motion and 2D Animation as a teenager. He freelances now, is based in Portland, OR and I found him through his incredible felt stop motion music videos, which honestly are like nothing i’ve ever seen before. When I find someone who is clearly completely talented as a still artist – a designer, painter, photographer, or sculptor – but who also sets that art in motion I basically well. Wet my pants. Lawrence makes like 24 pieces of art per second in his films!
